Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Transport and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 2.25%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260), which rose 9.97% or 1.84 points to trade at 20.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310) added 9.95% or 1.57 points to end at 17.35 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) was up 9.86% or 1.09 points to 12.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which fell 0.65% or 0.49 points to trade at 74.50 at the close. The Qassim Cement Co (SE:3040) added 0.07% or 0.06 points to end at 84.75 and National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) was up 0.20% or 0.06 points to 29.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 165 to 1.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.20% or 0.55 to $45.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.98% or 0.48 to hit $49.03 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.85% or 9.50 to trade at $1111.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.55% to 4.1793, while USD/SAR fell 0.05% to 3.7494.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.50% at 96.32.
