Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Insurance and Petrochemicals sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.58%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which rose 9.34% or 1.02 points to trade at 11.94 at the close. Methanol Chemicals Company (SE:2001) added 4.30% or 0.34 points to end at 8.25 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) was up 4.01% or 0.26 points to 6.75 in late trade.
Biggest losers included National Industrialization Co (SE:2060), which lost 8.10% or 1.24 points to trade at 14.06 in late trade. Najran Cement Company (SE:3002) declined 4.20% or 0.39 points to end at 8.90 and Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) shed 4.03% or 1.98 points to 47.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 126 to 51 and 4 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.30% or 0.75 to $56.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.03% or 0.65 to hit $62.21 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.20 to trade at $1270.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.06% to 4.4322, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 93.31.
