Sept 7 (Reuters) - Global resources company Rio Tinto (LON:RIO) RIO.AX said its estimates for coal reserves at a mine in the Australian state of Queensland, which it has reportedly put up for sale, increased by 62 million tonnes after closer examination of the asset.
Rio Tinto said it now expects its Kestrel mine to have ore reserves of 185 million tonnes, compared to its previous estimate of 123 million tonnes.
