Investing.com – Portugal equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Services and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 fell 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the PSI 20 were Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS), which rose 3.76% or 0.3200 points to trade at 8.8400 at the close. The Navigator Company SA (LS:NVGR) added 3.60% or 0.2050 points to end at 5.9000 and Semapa (LS:SEM) was up 2.16% or 0.5000 points to 23.6000 in late trade.
Biggest losers included F.Rama (LS:RAMA), which lost 3.09% or 0.300 points to trade at 9.400 in late trade. Sonae Capital (LS:SONAC) declined 2.59% or 0.0250 points to end at 0.9400 and Banco Comercial Portugues (LS:BCP) shed 1.89% or 0.0051 points to 0.2654.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 14 and 7 ended unchanged on the Lisbon Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was down 0.92% or 0.71 to $76.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.44% or 0.29 to hit $65.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1302.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.25% to 1.1770, while EUR/GBP fell 0.11% to 0.8780.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 93.56.
