Investing.com – Portugal equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 added 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the PSI 20 were Sonae SGPS SA (LS:YSO), which rose 5.19% or 0.0430 points to trade at 0.8720 at the close. Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA) added 3.83% or 0.0056 points to end at 0.1520 and Altri SGPS (LS:ALSS) was up 3.62% or 0.2700 points to 7.7300 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ramada Investimentos e Industria SA (LS:RAMA), which lost 1.55% or 0.150 points to trade at 9.550 in late trade. The Navigator Company SA (LS:NVGR) declined 1.44% or 0.0600 points to end at 4.1000 and Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) shed 1.26% or 0.2000 points to 15.6500.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 15 and 6 ended unchanged on the Lisbon Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.71% or 0.57 to $79.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $70.97 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.36% or 4.40 to trade at $1223.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.27% to 1.1562, while EUR/GBP rose 0.32% to 0.8790.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 94.91.
