Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Materials and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 1.54% or 0.12 points to trade at 7.92 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) added 1.12% or 0.2 points to end at 17.1 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was up 0.94% or 1.1 points to 114.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which lost 3.42% or 0.04 points to trade at 1.21 in late trade. SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) declined 2.91% or 6.50 points to end at 216.60 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 2.75% or 0.67 points to 23.65.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 86 and 21 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.40% or 0.75 to $54.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.18% or 0.66 to hit $56.50 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.37% or 16.95 to trade at $1250.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.13% to 8.8216, while USD/NOK fell 0.39% to 8.3333.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 100.95.
