Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Construction & Building Materials, Forestry & Paper and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares rose 0.22% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO), which rose 5.73% or 46 points to trade at 848 at the close. Meanwhile, Colorado (CS:COL) added 5.55% or 4.00 points to end at 76.00 and Atlanta (CS:ATL) was up 3.80% or 2.28 points to 62.28 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM), which fell 9.03% or 15.20 points to trade at 153.10 at the close. Alliances (CS:ADI) declined 5.99% or 4 points to end at 61 and Managem (CS:MNG) was down 5.57% or 50 points to 845.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 15 to 12 and 9 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.19% or 0.10 to $52.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.22% or 0.13 to hit $58.87 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.12% or 1.40 to trade at $1156.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.51% to 10.7980, while USD/MAD rose 0.49% to 9.7852.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.92% at 96.84.
