Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Biomed sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 5.65% or 85 points to trade at 1590 at the close. Meanwhile, Avner L (TA:AVNRp) added 5.61% or 16.2 points to end at 305.2 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 4.46% or 5000 points to 117000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Paz Oil (TA:PZOL), which fell 0.70% or 420 points to trade at 59970 at the close. Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) declined 0.60% or 4.5 points to end at 750.5 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was down 0.46% or 10 points to 2173.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 225 to 121 and 102 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 2.75% or 1.19 to $42.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.61% or 0.81 to hit $49.37 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.77% or 8.70 to trade at $1114.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.25% to 3.7973, while EUR/ILS fell 0.53% to 4.2259.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 96.57.
