Infinity Lithium Corporation Ltd (ASX:INF) has secured additional long-term leases over land at the San José Project in Spain through its subsidiary Extremadura New Energies, extending areas where the company proposes to build a lithium processing facility.

Another major milestone
"The new land agreement is another major milestone for San José,” Extremadura New Energies CEO Ramón Jiménez said.
“Collaboration with major local stakeholders continues and we are pleased to have finalised a new agreement to secure rights to an essential land package for the project.”
The newly acquired land is zoned for industrial applications and sits adjacent to previously secured land within the company’s granted exploration permit.
The acquisition is structured in a multi-year option and minimum 35-year lease.
Infinity says it continues to advance the San José Project on several fronts in collaboration with major stakeholders, working towards a vertically integrated lithium-ion battery supply chain within the EU.
