Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Property and Manufacturing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Dwi Aneka Jaya Kemasindo Tbk (JK:DAJK), which rose 14.50% or 38.00 points to trade at 300.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bayu Buana Tbk (JK:BAYU) added 13.33% or 100 points to end at 850 and Inti Kapuas Arowana Tbk (JK:IIKP) was up 11.92% or 90.00 points to 845.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT), which fell 9.90% or 50 points to trade at 455 at the close. Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) declined 9.88% or 8 points to end at 73 and Sekawan Intipratama Tbk (JK:SIAP) was down 9.63% or 18.00 points to 169.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 200 to 107 and 49 ended unchanged.
Shares in Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) fell to 3-years lows; losing 9.90% or 50 to 455. Shares in Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) fell to 3-years lows; down 9.88% or 8 to 73.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.89% or 0.39 to $43.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.53% or 0.25 to hit $47.29 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.30 to trade at $1165.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was unchanged 0.00% to 13625.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.10% to 9858.25.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 96.91.
