Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Trade and Mining sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 1.09%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Langgeng Makmur Industri Tbk (JK:LMPI), which rose 29.51% or 36 points to trade at 158 at the close. Meanwhile, Suryamas Dutamakmur Tbk (JK:SMDM) added 25.25% or 25 points to end at 124 and BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:BFIN) was up 20.00% or 500 points to 3000 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which fell 10.00% or 10 points to trade at 90 at the close. Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (JK:ANJT) declined 9.94% or 160 points to end at 1610 and Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) was down 9.87% or 75 points to 685.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 189 to 135 and 42 ended unchanged.
Shares in Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) fell to 3-years lows; falling 10.00% or 10 to 90. Shares in BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:BFIN) rose to 3-years highs; up 20.00% or 500 to 3000. Shares in Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT) fell to 3-years lows; down 9.87% or 75 to 685.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.55% or 0.25 to $44.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.38% or 0.18 to hit $48.05 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.38% or 4.30 to trade at $1122.50 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.46% to 14595.0, while AUD/IDR rose 1.11% to 10349.00.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.26% at 96.31.
