Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Agriculture, Financials and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB), which rose 18.00% or 90 points to trade at 590 at the close. Lippo Securities Tbk (JK:LPPS) added 15.84% or 16 points to end at 117 and Kino Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:KINO) was up 11.30% or 505 points to 4975 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Duta Anggada Realty Tbk (JK:DART), which lost 10.00% or 48 points to trade at 432 in late trade. Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI) declined 10.00% or 30 points to end at 270 and Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (JK:SRAJ) shed 10.00% or 42 points to 378.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 165 to 134 and 85 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.75% or 0.67 to $37.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.76% or 0.71 to hit $39.62 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.19% or 2.30 to trade at $1233.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.24% to 13137.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.17% to 10153.15.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 94.53.
