Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Property and Consumer Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 1.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Jakarta Kyoei Steel Works Tbk (JK:JKSW), which rose 34.85% or 23 points to trade at 89 at the close. Kedawung Setia Industrial Tbk (JK:KDSI) added 25.00% or 230 points to end at 1150 and Anabatic Technologies Tbk PT (JK:ATIC) was up 24.59% or 225 points to 1140 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sidomulyo Selaras Tbk (JK:SDMU), which lost 24.77% or 55 points to trade at 167 in late trade. Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB) declined 24.04% or 88 points to end at 278 and Inter-Delta Tbk (JK:INTD) shed 21.26% or 74.00 points to 274.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 254 to 139 and 106 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.51% or 0.99 to $64.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.66% or 1.24 to hit $73.50 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.73% or 9.30 to trade at $1265.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.06% to 14099.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.26% to 10297.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 95.15.
