Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.94%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Kimia Farma Persero Tbk (JK:KAEF), which rose 24.63% or 500 points to trade at 2530 at the close. Garda Tujuh Buana Tbk (JK:GTBO) added 24.50% or 74 points to end at 376 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) was up 18.83% or 84 points to 530 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA), which lost 22.67% or 34.00 points to trade at 116.00 in late trade. Nipress Tbk (JK:NIPS) declined 19.81% or 82 points to end at 332 and Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk PT (JK:CAMP) shed 15.38% or 80 points to 440.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 226 to 160 and 117 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.24% or 0.16 to $66.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.34% or 0.26 to hit $75.75 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.20 to trade at $1296.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.38% to 13983.0, while AUD/IDR fell 1.07% to 10486.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 94.40.
