Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Property sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Intikeramik Alamasri Industri (JK:IKAI), which rose 34.71% or 42 points to trade at 163 at the close. Sanurhasta Mitra PT (JK:MINA) added 25.00% or 440 points to end at 2200 and Suparma Tbk (JK:SPMA) was up 25.00% or 66 points to 330 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN), which lost 34.41% or 32.00 points to trade at 61.00 in late trade. Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk (JK:IBST) declined 19.75% or 1600 points to end at 6500 and Goodyear Indonesia Tbk (JK:GDYR) shed 18.35% or 400.00 points to 1780.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 253 to 123 and 93 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.17% or 0.11 to $65.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.51% or 0.35 to hit $68.23 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.60 to trade at $1338.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.13% to 13487.8, while AUD/IDR rose 0.50% to 10712.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 88.92.
