Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Industry, Mining and Property sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Capitol Nusantara Indonesia (JK:CANI), which rose 19.88% or 66 points to trade at 398 at the close. Inter-Delta Tbk (JK:INTD) added 17.14% or 60.00 points to end at 410.00 and Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JK:JPFA) was up 11.21% or 130 points to 1290 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bentoel International Investama (JK:RMBA), which lost 23.33% or 98 points to trade at 322 in late trade. Logindo Samudramakmur Tbk (JK:LEAD) declined 15.45% or 19 points to end at 104 and Centratama Telekomunikasi Ind (JK:CENT) shed 12.28% or 14 points to 100.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 237 to 90 and 109 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.59% or 0.31 to $51.91 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.87% or 0.51 to hit $57.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 4.04 to trade at $1307.46 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.27% to 13377.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.26% to 10599.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 92.71.
