Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU), which rose 24.62% or 96 points to trade at 486 at the close. Rimo International Lestari Tbk PT (JK:RIMO) added 20.19% or 21.000 points to end at 125.000 and Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (JK:DSNG) was up 20.00% or 100 points to 600 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI), which lost 24.23% or 110 points to trade at 344 in late trade. Buana Finance Tbk (JK:BBLD) declined 22.22% or 190 points to end at 665 and Island Concepts Indonesia Tbk (JK:ICON) shed 21.33% or 64 points to 236.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 203 to 115 and 112 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.37% or 0.71 to $52.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.18% or 0.65 to hit $55.54 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 13.35 to trade at $1266.65 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.16% to 13316.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.04% to 10058.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 100.68.
