Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Trade, Miscellaneous Industry and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite lost 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bakrieland Development Tbk (JK:ELTY), which rose 34.38% or 22 points to trade at 86 at the close. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga (JK:AGRO) added 25.00% or 119 points to end at 595 and Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW) was up 23.13% or 62 points to 330 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pikko Land Development Tbk (JK:RODA), which lost 25.00% or 112 points to trade at 336 in late trade. Asuransi Bintang Tbk (JK:ASBI) declined 19.43% or 68.00 points to end at 282.00 and Hd Capital Tbk (JK:HADE) shed 15.94% or 11.00 points to 58.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 200 to 118 and 106 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.04% or 0.54 to $51.63 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.71% or 0.39 to hit $54.66 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1237.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.20% to 13324.8, while AUD/IDR rose 0.15% to 10193.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 100.53.
