Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Property sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Kioson Komersial Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:KIOS), which rose 25.00% or 530 points to trade at 2650 at the close. Kapuas Prima Coal Tbk PT (JK:ZINC) added 25.00% or 74 points to end at 370 and Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance PT (JK:MTWI) was up 24.43% or 108 points to 550 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Arthavest Tbk (JK:ARTA), which lost 24.72% or 157 points to trade at 478 in late trade. Tigaraksa Satria Tbk (JK:TGKA) declined 24.00% or 600 points to end at 1900 and Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA) shed 9.73% or 22 points to 204.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 201 to 142 and 111 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.40% or 0.21 to $52.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.86% or 0.50 to hit $58.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.81 to trade at $1283.39 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.17% to 13522.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.01% to 10581.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 93.52.
