Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Mining, Property and Consumer Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA), which rose 25.00% or 86 points to trade at 430 at the close. Arthavest Tbk (JK:ARTA) added 24.44% or 66 points to end at 336 and Trada Maritime Tbk (JK:TRAM) was up 15.72% or 25 points to 184 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF), which lost 16.57% or 60 points to trade at 302 in late trade. Indo Kordsa Tbk (JK:BRAM) declined 16.18% or 1100 points to end at 5700 and Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD) shed 14.73% or 95 points to 550.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 204 to 124 and 139 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.17% or 0.56 to $47.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.19% or 0.10 to hit $51.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.11 to trade at $1302.01 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.07% to 13338.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.58% to 10486.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 92.37.
