Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Industry, Property and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Garda Tujuh Buana Tbk (JK:GTBO), which rose 25.00% or 64 points to trade at 320 at the close. Bank Sinarmas Tbk (JK:BSIM) added 25.00% or 175 points to end at 875 and Marga Abhinaya Abadi Tbk PT (JK:MABA) was up 24.80% or 155 points to 780 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (JK:LPIN), which lost 11.15% or 150 points to trade at 1195 in late trade. Tanah Laut Tbk (JK:INDX) declined 10.48% or 13 points to end at 111 and Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO) shed 9.68% or 36 points to 336.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 187 to 169 and 112 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.76% or 0.48 to $63.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.44% or 0.30 to hit $69.12 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.70 to trade at $1317.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.06% to 13429.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.07% to 10517.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 92.14.
