Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI), which rose 24.69% or 80 points to trade at 404 at the close. Bumi Citra Permai Tbk (JK:BCIP) added 20.00% or 26 points to end at 156 and Samudera Indonesia Tbk (JK:SMDR) was up 16.06% or 44 points to 318 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD), which lost 17.62% or 80 points to trade at 374 in late trade. Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) declined 8.77% or 30 points to end at 312 and Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI) shed 8.60% or 8 points to 85.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 167 to 141 and 146 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.14% or 0.08 to $56.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.38% or 0.24 to hit $63.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.55 to trade at $1277.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.09% to 13557.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.16% to 10343.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 94.54.
