Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Mining, Miscellaneous Industry and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Panasia Indo Resources Tbk (JK:HDTX), which rose 25.00% or 104 points to trade at 520 at the close. Metro Realty Tbk (JK:MTSM) added 24.87% or 98 points to end at 492 and Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) was up 21.43% or 30 points to 170 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Polaris Investama Tbk (JK:PLAS), which lost 34.62% or 45 points to trade at 85 in late trade. Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) declined 25.56% or 46 points to end at 134 and Bukit Darmo Property Tbk (JK:BKDP) shed 22.09% or 19 points to 67.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 180 to 142 and 114 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.76% or 0.41 to $54.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.99% or 0.55 to hit $56.36 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1237.45 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.08% to 13355.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.24% to 10258.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 100.86.
