Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Trade and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.46%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK:MLPT), which rose 24.75% or 125 points to trade at 630 at the close. Rig Tenders Tbk (JK:RIGS) added 17.95% or 35 points to end at 230 and Semen Baturaja Persero Tbk (JK:SMBR) was up 16.72% or 530 points to 3700 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN), which lost 27.13% or 51.00 points to trade at 137.00 in late trade. Betonjaya Manunggal Tbk (JK:BTON) declined 25.00% or 52 points to end at 156 and Anabatic Technologies Tbk PT (JK:ATIC) shed 14.29% or 120 points to 720.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 203 to 158 and 122 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.59% or 0.38 to $64.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.64% or 0.44 to hit $68.08 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.70 to trade at $1342.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.07% to 13380.8, while AUD/IDR rose 0.07% to 10871.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 88.77.
