Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Basic Industry and Manufacturing sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.35%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sekar Laut Tbk (JK:SKLT), which rose 53.06% or 208.00 points to trade at 600.00 at the close. Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI) added 24.80% or 62 points to end at 312 and Island Concepts Indonesia Tbk (JK:ICON) was up 24.00% or 60 points to 310 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Mulia Industrindo Tbk (JK:MLIA), which lost 24.07% or 142 points to trade at 448 in late trade. Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY) declined 13.46% or 14 points to end at 90 and Tempo Inti Media Tbk (JK:TMPO) shed 10.32% or 16 points to 139.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 161 to 149 and 116 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.29% or 0.14 to $48.35 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.12% or 0.06 to hit $51.31 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 6.55 to trade at $1207.95 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.01% to 13354.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.00% to 10074.65.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 101.13.
