Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Manufacturing and Basic Industry sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Nusantara Properti International Tbk PT (JK:NATO), which rose 24.82% or 68 points to trade at 342 at the close. Citra Putra Realty Tbk PT (JK:CLAY) added 24.37% or 145 points to end at 740 and Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) was up 18.64% or 22 points to 140 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Onix Capital Tbk (JK:OCAP), which lost 20.75% or 66 points to trade at 252 in late trade. Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (JK:LPIN) declined 20.48% or 215 points to end at 835 and Buana Finance Tbk (JK:BBLD) shed 19.66% or 92 points to 376.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 225 to 189 and 135 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.29% or 0.15 to $52.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.16% or 0.10 to hit $61.24 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 5.05 to trade at $1278.95 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.07% to 14165.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.68% to 10053.61.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 96.020.
