Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Property, Consumer Industry and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were MD Pictures Tbk PT (JK:FILM), which rose 24.49% or 120 points to trade at 610 at the close. Puradelta Lestari Tbk Pt (JK:DMAS) added 19.20% or 24 points to end at 149 and MAP Aktif Adiperkasa Tbk PT (JK:MAPA) was up 18.50% or 690 points to 4420 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Steadfast Marine PT (JK:KPAL), which lost 24.89% or 280 points to trade at 845 in late trade. Rig Tenders Tbk (JK:RIGS) declined 13.45% or 64 points to end at 412 and Bukit Uluwatu Villa Tbk (JK:BUVA) shed 9.93% or 28 points to 254.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 186 to 181 and 138 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.04% or 0.03 to $66.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.01% or 0.01 to hit $72.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 2.70 to trade at $1217.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.31% to 14483.9, while AUD/IDR fell 3.18% to 10652.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 95.88.
