Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Trade and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sekar Laut Tbk (JK:SKLT), which rose 53.06% or 208.00 points to trade at 600.00 at the close. Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) added 23.72% or 74 points to end at 386 and Bank Ganesha Tbk PT (JK:BGTG) was up 21.52% or 17 points to 96 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Modern Internasional Tbk (JK:MDRN), which lost 34.94% or 29 points to trade at 54 in late trade. Bank Mitraniaga Tbk (JK:NAGA) declined 26.63% or 53 points to end at 146 and Asuransi Bintang Tbk (JK:ASBI) shed 23.18% or 70.00 points to 232.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 186 to 128 and 108 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.13% or 1.07 to $49.21 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.01% or 1.07 to hit $52.04 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.45 to trade at $1204.95 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.14% to 13393.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.55% to 10011.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 102.10.
