Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Mining, Agriculture and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Nipress Tbk (JK:NIPS), which rose 23.68% or 90 points to trade at 470 at the close. Garuda Metalindo Tbk PT (JK:BOLT) added 23.08% or 165 points to end at 880 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) was up 22.56% or 74 points to 402 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bumi Citra Permai Tbk (JK:BCIP), which lost 10.00% or 28 points to trade at 252 in late trade. Bank Pembangunan Barat Dan Banten (JK:BJBR) declined 9.47% or 230 points to end at 2200 and Dua Putra Utama Makmur PT (JK:DPUM) shed 9.42% or 65 points to 625.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 160 to 135 and 103 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.61% or 0.31 to $51.15 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.37% or 0.20 to hit $54.09 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1172.25 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.08% to 13302.0, while AUD/IDR rose 1.06% to 10096.85.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 101.11.
