Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Consumer Industry and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:TRUS), which rose 17.02% or 32.00 points to trade at 220.00 at the close. Rukun Raharja Tbk (JK:RAJA) added 16.53% or 100 points to end at 705 and Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) was up 14.86% or 11 points to 85 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Trikomsel Oke Tbk (JK:TRIO), which lost 24.88% or 265 points to trade at 800 in late trade. Skybee Tbk PT (JK:SKYB) declined 24.60% or 61 points to end at 187 and Visi Telekomunikasi Infrastruktur Tbk PT (JK:GOLD) shed 19.65% or 113 points to 462.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 214 to 154 and 127 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.35% or 0.24 to $68.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.58% or 0.42 to hit $73.00 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1225.60 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.19% to 14513.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.08% to 10619.95.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 94.91.
