Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 2.90% or 1.12 points to trade at 39.76 at the close. Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) added 0.97% or 0.44 points to end at 45.90 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:NRE1V) was up 0.82% or 0.31 points to 37.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V), which lost 2.80% or 1.70 points to trade at 59.00 in late trade. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) declined 1.99% or 0.1800 points to end at 8.8550 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) shed 1.09% or 0.40 points to 36.41.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 66 to 61 and 28 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was down 2.68% or 1.53 to $55.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 3.01% or 1.53 to hit $49.26 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.48 to trade at $1275.68 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.13% to 1.1726, while EUR/GBP rose 0.66% to 0.8985.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 93.72.
