Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 4.07% or 0.3550 points to trade at 9.0700 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) added 2.28% or 1.35 points to end at 60.55 and Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) was up 1.56% or 0.42 points to 27.36 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which lost 1.69% or 0.65 points to trade at 37.89 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB FDR (HE:NDA1V) declined 1.66% or 0.190 points to end at 11.230 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) shed 1.35% or 0.29 points to 21.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 65 and 16 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for December delivery was up 1.76% or 0.99 to $57.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.74% or 0.88 to hit $51.48 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 6.94 to trade at $1303.44 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.11% to 1.1844, while EUR/GBP fell 0.21% to 0.8901.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 92.80.
