Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.84% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 0.77% or 4.5 points to trade at 590.5 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) fell 0.20% or 1.5 points to end at 747.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.20% or 0.7 points to 344.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 19.13% or 100.9 points to trade at 426.6 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 8.58% or 36.4 points to end at 387.8 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 3.98% or 49.0 points to 1181.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 109 to 19 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.81% or 0.46 to $57.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.80% or 0.51 to hit $64.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 3.77 to trade at $1287.47 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.48% to 6.3893, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4407.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 94.39.
