Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.55% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.20% or 4.2 points to trade at 355.5 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 0.98% or 5.5 points to end at 565.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 0.78% or 3.8 points to 490.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 4.88% or 28.5 points to trade at 556.0 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.99% or 11.1 points to end at 360.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 2.87% or 11.7 points to 396.3.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 74 to 45 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.06% or 1.17 to $55.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.90% or 1.20 to hit $61.96 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.83 to trade at $1279.73 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.85% to 6.3226, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 93.88.
