Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.04% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 5.15% or 20.4 points to trade at 416.7 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 0.99% or 100 points to end at 10180 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.87% or 2.10 points to 243.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 1.50% or 5.4 points to trade at 355.1 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 1.39% or 10.5 points to end at 744.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 1.36% or 7.0 points to 509.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 71 to 51 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.61% or 0.34 to $55.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.42% or 0.26 to hit $61.95 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 5.19 to trade at $1277.71 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.3098, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4415.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 93.78.
