Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.95%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 5.43% or 26.1 points to trade at 507.0 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.82% or 34.0 points to end at 1240.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.84% or 9.5 points to 526.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 1.17% or 7.0 points to trade at 592.5 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 0.47% or 1.30 points to end at 272.50 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 0.18% or 0.9 points to 495.7.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 65 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.41% or 1.34 to $56.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.75% or 1.71 to hit $63.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.04% or 13.24 to trade at $1282.44 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.00% to 6.4123, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4432.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 94.68.
