Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.80%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 3.17% or 8.9 points to trade at 289.7 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.95% or 26.0 points to end at 1359.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 1.16% or 3.3 points to 286.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 2.46% or 9.2 points to trade at 365.4 in late trade. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 1.21% or 0.46 points to end at 37.58 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 1.20% or 150 points to 12370.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 78 to 38 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.21% or 0.10 to $48.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.17% or 0.09 to hit $51.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 2.63 to trade at $1292.73 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 6.2959, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4366.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 93.04.
