Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 3.63% or 18.5 points to trade at 527.5 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 2.49% or 270 points to end at 11120 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 2.45% or 14.0 points to 586.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 7.31% or 27.3 points to trade at 346.4 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 5.27% or 14.10 points to end at 253.20 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 1.96% or 6.9 points to 345.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 59 to 56 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.01% or 0.58 to $57.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.27% or 0.81 to hit $64.50 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 10.26 to trade at $1286.06 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.02% to 6.4226, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4440.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 94.79.
