Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 2.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 1.70% or 35.0 points to trade at 2090.0 at the close. Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) unchanged 0% or 0 points to end at 1505.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was down 0.12% or 5.0 points to 4100.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 4.41% or 840.0 points to trade at 18200.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 4.01% or 460.0 points to end at 11000.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) shed 3.81% or 680.0 points to 17180.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 27 to 2 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.12% or 0.14 to $119.78 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.37% or 12.00 to hit $3207.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 0.56% or 7.25 to trade at $1288.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.94% to 2910.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.07% to 816.20.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.44% at 92.94.
