The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 4.14% or 110.0 points to trade at 2770.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 3.63% or 170.0 points to end at 4850.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 3.47% or 620.0 points to 18500.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which lost 1.02% or 680.0 points to trade at 66020.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 0.74% or 0.2 points to end at 26.8 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 0.43% or 140.0 points to 32380.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.74% or 0.90 to $120.38 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.69% or 14.00 to hit $2050.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 1.11% or 15.00 to trade at $1332.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.75% to 2843.94, while BRL/COP rose 0.12% to 883.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 89.01.
