Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.70% or 540.0 points to end at 32240.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.50% or 160.0 points to 31980.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 1.96% or 55.0 points to trade at 2745.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.37% or 40.0 points to end at 2880.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 0.99% or 10.0 points to 1000.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.29% or 1.60 to $125.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.78% or 35.00 to hit $1996.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.05% or 14.30 to trade at $1348.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.85% to 2813.69, while BRL/COP rose 0.71% to 892.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 88.96.
