Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV), which rose 0.91% or 260.0 points to trade at 28860.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 0.63% or 30.0 points to end at 4760.0 and Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA ESP (CN:EEB) was up 0.51% or 10.0 points to 1980.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 3.74% or 400.0 points to trade at 10300.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 2.79% or 30.0 points to end at 1045.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) shed 2.67% or 360.0 points to 13100.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 25 to 6 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was up 0.44% or 0.63 to $142.65 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.12% or 2.50 to hit $2014.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.09 to trade at $1265.79 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.49% to 2997.25, while BRL/COP rose 0.38% to 957.71.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 93.52.
