Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which rose 2.23% or 340.0 points to trade at 15580.0 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) added 1.47% or 280.0 points to end at 19300.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 1.13% or 20.0 points to 1785.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 2.80% or 80.0 points to trade at 2780.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 1.49% or 70.0 points to end at 4625.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) shed 1.00% or 140.0 points to 13900.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 13 to 12 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 4.12% or 4.40 to $102.40 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.26% or 28.00 to hit $2253.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 3.85 to trade at $1301.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.24% to 3158.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.42% to 839.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 95.433.
