Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Public Services and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.30% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 0.98% or 160.0 points to trade at 16460.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 0.94% or 90.0 points to end at 9700.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.90% or 15.0 points to 1680.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 2.22% or 680.0 points to trade at 29900.0 in late trade. Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) declined 2.04% or 420.0 points to end at 20160.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 1.81% or 50.0 points to 2710.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 9 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.41% or 0.52 to $125.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.16% or 24.50 to hit $2093.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 5.97 to trade at $1271.73 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.63% to 3042.69, while BRL/COP rose 1.13% to 929.69.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 94.44.
