Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.28% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 3.04% or 35.0 points to trade at 1185.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) added 2.59% or 30.0 points to end at 1190.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was up 2.28% or 300.0 points to 13460.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 4.23% or 1460.0 points to trade at 33040.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 2.48% or 780.0 points to end at 30720.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) shed 2.14% or 340.0 points to 15540.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 13 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 1.07% or 1.10 to $101.40 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.46% or 33.00 to hit $2299.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1201.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.95% to 3089.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.08% to 755.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 95.12.
