Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which rose 2.48% or 200.0 points to trade at 8250.0 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) added 1.20% or 5.0 points to end at 420.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 1.07% or 320.0 points to 30200.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which lost 1.77% or 170.0 points to trade at 9430.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 1.44% or 460.0 points to end at 31540.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) shed 1.05% or 200.0 points to 18800.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 1.82% or 2.20 to $118.92 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.55% or 14.00 to hit $2531.00 , while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 9.30 to trade at $1316.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.12% to 2846.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.67% to 866.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.43% at 90.14.
