Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.47% or 140.0 points to trade at 9690.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 0.63% or 420.0 points to end at 67520.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) was up 0.59% or 120.0 points to 20380.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 2.03% or 600.0 points to trade at 29000.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 1.46% or 15.0 points to end at 1015.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 0.91% or 100.0 points to 10900.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 13 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 2.83% or 3.75 to $128.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 2.89% or 61.00 to hit $2049.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 7.72 to trade at $1274.38 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.05% to 3005.45, while BRL/COP fell 0.84% to 918.51.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 92.99.
