Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Services, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.10% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Promigas (CN:PMG), which rose 3.50% or 250.0 points to trade at 7390.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 1.02% or 700.0 points to end at 69200.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) was up 1.01% or 240.0 points to 24000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which lost 2.30% or 400.0 points to trade at 17000.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.67% or 40.0 points to end at 2360.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) shed 1.41% or 200.0 points to 14000.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 11 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for September delivery was down 1.77% or 1.95 to $107.97 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 3.97% or 85.50 to hit $2070.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 5.30 to trade at $1218.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 2891.45, while BRL/COP rose 0.04% to 770.79.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.48.
