Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 5.35% or 205.0 points to trade at 4040.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.00% or 100.0 points to end at 10140.0 and Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA ESP (CN:EEB) was up 0.84% or 15.0 points to 1810.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 3.14% or 12.0 points to trade at 370.0 in late trade. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) declined 2.76% or 30.0 points to end at 1055.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) shed 1.67% or 240.0 points to 14140.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 7 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.35% or 1.40 to $102.45 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.57% or 13.50 to hit $2342.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.05 to trade at $1291.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.11% to 3139.60, while BRL/COP rose 0.36% to 848.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 95.230.
