Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Investment, Financials and Public Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 2.26% or 300.0 points to trade at 13600.0 at the close. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (CN:GAA_p) added 1.96% or 25.0 points to end at 1300.0 and Etb (CN:ETB) was up 1.59% or 7.0 points to 446.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p), which lost 1.37% or 420.0 points to trade at 30200.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 0.80% or 8.0 points to end at 992.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 0.51% or 50.0 points to 9750.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 1.85% or 2.20 to $121.12 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.23% or 5.00 to hit $2142.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1332.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.63% to 2859.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.02% to 879.88.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 89.71.
